This week I’m excited to talk to Melinda Petrow who is the Senior Director of Brand Strategy for the Fandango Movie Network. You’re going to learn a ton from her including how to stay at a company for 10 years from the start of your career and navigate through to get to a really great position and keep enjoying your job throughout lots of change. You’ll also hear about how a company navigates its way through social media when it’s growing and evolving.
I can’t wait to introduce you to my next guest – her name is Beca Alexander and she is the founder of Socialyte which has a really interesting agency model. They are both a casting agency for influencers, so they find influencers and help get them gigs, and they’re also an agency that connects brands with influencers. They connect them together to create magic.
I am getting hungry just thinking about this brand! Our next guest, Molly Breiner, is the Head of Marketing at Aloha. Aloha is a health and wellness brand that creates sustainable solutions for eating well with organic plant based nutrition products. Today, Molly’s going to talk to you about how she got to where she is today and how Aloha is using micro-influencers.
So I feel like I should start this podcast by singing “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend” because today I get to talk to Deborah Marquardt who is the Chief Marketing Officer of The Diamond Producers Association. This is a new association that started in 2016 and their mission is to protect and promote the integrity and reputation of diamonds and the diamond industry. The thing that I was most fascinated with was how Deborah was able to help start a conversation shift around diamonds going from the traditional fairytale to more authentic storytelling.
Today, I get to talk to Lisa Schoder who is currently the lead on Ford’s US Integrated Marketing and Media team. Before that, she was an engineer. How often do you hear that story? After 11 years as an engineer in the engineering department at Ford, she made a shift and worked her way up through the marketing department. It’s a really fascinating story.
